Gear up for epic days on the hill! Our recreational races (inspired by the classic Singles League and Open League vibes) will fire up in January, blending fun GS and Slalom action across Tahoe’s premier spots. Expect 6+ high-energy race days, plus a shot at Far West championships. (Tentative – stay tuned for tweaks as snow gods decree!)
Racer Fees are to be paid to the Rusty Bindings Ski Club (Not to Singles league or Open league).
Racer Fees $150.00/Single league subsidizing $50.00/Rusty Bindings Subsidizing $20.00. Total Racer fee $80.00 per racer.

There are race categories for skiers and snow boarders of all ability levels. Beginning racers can start by navigating an easy course of 10 or more gates. At the other end of the spectrum, there are hot racers and boarders with low race handicaps who display “Olympic techniques” for the rest of us to envy. We race together as a team.
We race in the legendary Singles League, plus BAC and Far West Racing Association championship events.
Racing with Rusty Bindings isn’t about being the fastest (although bragging rights are sweet). It’s about laughing in the start gate, high-fiving after your run, pushing your limits, and making lifelong friends who rip at exactly your pace.
And the best part? The epic season-ending gala party where we celebrate everyone – medals, stories, drinks, and dancing!

ℹ️ Team points. Each Team Racer must be an active member of a BAC club in order to earn points for themselves and their team. Independent racers do not earn points. See Teams.
ℹ️ Race Day Info. Course times, locations and updates will be posted 1-day before each race. This information is also sent out about a week earlier to racers through their teams. See Race Day Info.
ℹ️ Race Day Course Workers. Each adult racer is REQUIRED to volunteer at least once during the season (any position, any race). Please read the Course Worker information before selecting a volunteer position, then contact the Course Worker Coordinator to sign up!
ℹ️ Race Training. Clinics are offered periodically during the season. Sign ups are handled separately and will be communicated to racers through their teams & updated on the website. See Race Training.

ℹ️ Text alerts. All racers may sign up to receive SMS text alerts of changes to race location, race delays or cancellations. You will be redirected to the Singles League site for sign-up. [NOTE: if you signed up for alerts last season, you will not be re-registered automatically. You must sign up for this each season.]
